New Audi A3 2009 Car

Audi news has been coming in thick and fast the past few days with the extravagant A3 TDI Clubsport quattro concept and that Audi will indeed put the TT Clubsport quattro Concept into production too. The A3 TDI Clubsport quattro will make its debut at the upcoming Wörthersee Tour in Austria, the place where the TT Clubsport quattro made a shock entrance last year.

The facelifted Audi A3 and S3 fit into the crowd (or should we say traffic jam) a bit better. In conjunction with the in depth press release in the following pages Audi released the first driving footage of their freshened A3.

The A3 comes with a nice array of engine choice ranging from 102 hp 1.6 liter petrol engine and a 105 hp 1.9 liter TDI to the range topping 265 hp 2.0 liter TFSI petrol engine in the S3. New to the range is the S3 Sportback with its 1,100 liter trunk and three doors in addition to the 5-door S3 hatchback.

Audi offers a five-speed manual transmission in its entry level models, a six-speed manual for the remainder of the model range while the 3.2 liter quattro six-cylinder is hooked up to a (semi)-automatic S tronic dual clutch transmission.

New 2010 Audi S5 Cabriolet to UK

Audi is the German luxury car manufacturer, part of the Volkswagen Group. Recently we had reported about the first Volkswagen Group Logistics Service Facility in India. Now Audi has announced its open air S5 Cabriolet, which has been brought in to replace the S4 Cabriolet.

The A5 range flagship is powered by a supercharged V6 which is capable of delivering typical sports car pace with uncharacteristically high efficiency. The S5 Cabriolet features a seven speed S tronic twin clutch transmission as standard and gives 29.1 miles to the gallon. The car can do zero to 62 miles per hour in 5.6 seconds and can touch a limited maximum speed of 155 mph.

Something that every model in the S Quattro series has, the S5 Cabriolet’s quattro four-wheel-drive, gives exceptional performance due to the asymmetric system with 40/60 rear-biased torque split. Whether accelerating out of a corner, or just making a right-hander, the power transfer to the outer wheel literally thrusts the S5 out of a turn. Reduced steering effort coupled with a better level of adjustability and control are just some of the advantages of such a system.

The specially designed S sport suspension, aluminium-styled door mirrors, rear LEDs, xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights, black painted brake callipers, and special front and rear S stylings give the S5 Cabriolet its characteristic look. The vehicle will also feature an acoustic hood, which is a highly sophisticated version of the lightweight soft-top. This soft-top has a retraction time of just 15 seconds and can be raised in just 17 seconds. Both operations can be completed while driving at speeds of up to 31 mph.

The new Audi S5 Cabriolet can now be ordered in the UK. The OTR price of the luxury sports car is 42,245 GBP (approx. Rs. 33,70,150) and the first deliveries will start in October.

The version with R tronic automatic transmission is priced at $156,300, including tax and destination. The top Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro is equipped with the V10 from Audi's R8 LMS GT3 racing car, making 525 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque and taking the R8 from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds.

The first two R8 V10s were delivered this week to winning bidders from the 2009 Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance, whose bids for charity raised $850,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, Florida. The top bid of $500,000 for the 2010 R8 V10 was the highest price ever paid for a new Audi in the U.S.

The V8-powered R8 makes 420 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. The model was launched in the U.S. in the fall of 2007.

Audi will release pricing information on the rest of its lineup later this summer.

Audi TT-RS already tuned

Mcchip-DKR bite the peak, because there are certainly many tuners will follow. For they offer a chip with modified engine. The capacity increased from 340 to 380 hp. The torque is no less than 550 nm, while the chippie relatively modest price is € 899. Later, following a "Level 2" tuning that the total power at 400 hp should bring.

Appearance remained relatively unchanged. Mcchip mounted only other Cargraphic wheels. The 20 "jetsers with 255/30 R20 Continental tires cost as much as € 6600 and very nice, I think not. The mcchip TT-RS was also still on the power bank take place to prove that the power there really is.
