Toyota Auris Hybrid Car Concept

Toyota is set to debut the Auris HSD Full Hybrid Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show in two weeks. The hybrid concept represents Toyota's first deployment of their full hybrid technology in a mainstream high volume model. Full hybrid technology is decribed as an engine that can run on only the combustion engine, only the electric motor/batteries, or a combination of both. Toyota states that this is first step in rolling out Hybrid Synergy Drive (HSD) across the company's model range. More details to be released at the Frankfurt unveiling.
Also joining the Auris concept are the Prius Plug-in Hybrid Concept, all-new Land Cruiser European premiere, iQ for Sports and iQ Collection. The Land Cruiser goes on sale in the 4th quarter of 2009 while the iQ cars demonstrate personalization possibilities.

Hybrid Toyota Yaris will come from France?

A few months ago, Toyota confirmed that a hybrid version of the Yaris on the market will come. This hybrid Yaris will be cheaper in the market put the Honda Insight. It is now known that the compact hybrid probably the end of 2011 on the market. And that means the market in Japan, but then Europe will surely follow ...
Beautiful important, so I hear you thinking. Mwah, if we look at the Prius and Insight are the direct selling guns. And in the Netherlands, the success of the Japanese not to ignore.
Both Toyota and Honda have recently announced the Japanese price of hybrides reduced. The Toyota Prius will cost 2.05 million yen in Japan and the Honda Insight will cost 1.89 million yen. The hybrid Yaris, for about 1.5 million yen to leave the showroom. This offer may need to be sharp thanks to a cheap version of Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive, including a downgraded viercilindertje. The production of these "green" Yaris is looking to France, good useful for the European market.

2010 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is redesigned

The present day Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has been around for the better part of a 7 years and, as popular as it may be, a redesign is definately in order. So far the rumor’s we’ll see the new model debut as a 2010 model.
This drawing by a Japanese magazine might not mean much at this point but it hints of things to come. The render shows design cues assumed from our Toyota Highlander. There are differences, but not many. The curved body contours are acceptable (maybe even a little too much) but the elongated grille is pushing the envelope.
