Ferrari California

Nasal openings and exhaust systems are interests and references to convertibles of the past, the folding roof is a "news" that Ferrari are now also used the striking high backside is a matter of form follows function. The overall picture is ... Is there an overall picture? It is not really a whole, rather same of elements glued together. The car is a C + C so a somewhere between a coupe and a convertible floating in the backside follows from this construction, and the nose is especially interesting to see. However, most people with money will find controversial and innovative, rather than messy, because there are already two years productions - about five thousand pieces! - Sold out.

Ferrari 458 Italia revealed officially

After months of speculation and spy shots, Maranello has finally revealed the mid-engined V8 replacement for the Ferrari F430. The all-new Ferrari 458 Italia won't be shown in public until September's Frankfurt Motor Show, but the official details were released early this morning. A new direct-injected 4.5-liter V8 ups the ante underhood, pumping out 562 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. The redline? A screaming 9,000 rpm. Eighty percent of the F458 Italia's torque is now available at a low 3,250 rpm, thanks in all likelihood to the new engine's 12.5:1 compression ratio.

As with last year's California, the Ferrari 458 gets a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox that directs power to the rear axle. Much has been done to reduce internal friction within the new V8, in addition aerodynamic drag improvements. As a result, the Ferrari 458 Italia's gas mileage improves to a combined 17.1 mpg (US) on the EU test cycle. As this is a Ferrari, talk of fuel consumption really does seem somewhat pointless, anyway. No mention of incorporating any type of KERS hybrid system has been made thus far. The KERS idea, you'll remember, had taken several spins around the rumormill over the last year or so; maybe that'll materialize at a later date.

Like its predecessor, the Ferrari 458 Italia's aluminum structure helps keep weight under control -- it tips the scales at just 3,042 pounds dry. So, we know you're wondering: How quick is it? Based on specs at least, this new coupe does't disappoint. Acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes just 3.4 seconds, and this will be the first volume production Ferrari V8 to top the 200 mph barrier, with a top whack of 202 mph. Is it still too early to head to the airport for our flight to Frankfurt in September?

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano with HGTE Sport Package

It's a long time since the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano Handling GT Evoluzione was unveiled to the world at the Geneva Motor Show, but with a name as painfully contrived as the plotline to Transformers, we figure it took Maranello three months just to get the name right on its media site.

Only the Tifosi and adept Fezza spotters could tell the difference between the standard 599 and this hotted up HGTE package, as the only visual differences include a tweaked fascia, new exhaust tips, rear diffuser and bespoke 20-inch wheels. But underneath, the factory-fettled 599 features a modified magnetorheological suspension and revised springs, along with uprated tires and a beefier anti-roll bar to coax a few more fractions of a G out of Ferrari's super-GT. For around $42,000, you get all that and more alcantara and carbon fiber, plus "Handling GTE" embroidered into the sports seats. Helluva deal. Check the gallery below for more and get all the details in the press release below the fold.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HQ Photos

The 599 GTB Fiorano is Ferrari's most powerful V12-engined production car of all time. It features a 6.0-liter V12 engine derived directly from the Enzo supercar, producing 620 hp at 7,600 rpm and 446 pound-feet of torque at 5,600 rpm.

The car represents the latest interpretation of a theme that has seen such classics as the 250 GT, the 275 GTB, and the 365 GTB4. The Ferrari 599 GTB replaces the 575M Maranello, which followed the 550 Maranello introduced in 1996.

The 599 shares a basic design language and much of its chassis with the 612 Scaglietti. Bodywork was penned by Italian design house Pininfarina. Dynamically adjustable MagneRide suspension enables the 599 to offer a smooth ride for cruising, while still taking corners like a track-oriented supercar.

Interior and Materials options include a new Enzo Ferrari-inspired carbon-fiber steering wheel with LED rev display which can be specified along with a special carbon-fiber trim kit for the door panels, instrument panel, gear stick surround and sill kick panels.

A choice of various types of leather trim are available for the seats and interior. The passenger areas of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano are trimmed in leather while the driver area and controls boast more high-tech detailing in carbon-fiber and aluminum.

Some standard features include front bi-xenon headlamps and rear LED lights, dusk and rain sensors, dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable steering-wheel column, hideaway radio/CD player and key with integrated volumetric anti-theft device with motion sensors.
