VW New Sportline Limited Edition X Model

Cargo and passenger-hauling large vans are hardly synonymous with sportiness, that’s not stopping Volkswagen from introducing for the United Kingdom market a performance-oriented, limited edition Transporter Sportline Edition X.

Packing 18-inch alloy wheels, unique chrome exterior add-ons, front and rear spoilers and more, the Transporter Sportline Edition X will be limited to just 150 units.

Inside, the van gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel, unique black and blue leather sports seats and embroidered floor mats – all the better suited to sporty mobility, apparently.

The van doesn’t include any additional underhood go – the 174-horsepower 2.5-liter TDI engine remains. The package adds £500 to make the base short-wheelbase version start at £25,065. Add another £500 or so for the long-wheelbase variant and another £1,300 on top of that for the passenger-cargo combi.
